“Atlanta is a great city with many wonderful people and an inspiring history. But it must become that shining city on a hill once again. Atlanta has to believe that its reach is beyond its current grasp.”

Andre Dickens is a passionate advocate for Atlanta’s senior community, and his work on city council reflects that advocacy. During his time on the city council, Andre Dickens has:

  • Hosted 6  annual Senior Walks to expose seniors to new amenities and transit options around the BeltLine. These events feature community and government partners providing education and support services to seniors.
  • Researched, designed, and mailed Senior Discount flyers to over 20,000 senior homes so they can get repairs, benefits, and discounts.
  • Partnered with Georgia Power to distribute 4,000 light bulbs to give to Seniors in need.
